Standing as Oklahoma’s oldest national park, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area is well known as a refuge for wildlife and outdoor activities. The mineral waters, streams and lakes cater to boaters, swimmers and fishermen while its forests and prairies reward hikers, equestrians, and wildlife photographers. The park offers visitors boat ramps, courtesy docks, a picnic area, outdoor grills, a pavilion, group facilities, security, hiking, bicycle and nature trails, a swimming beach, and an amphitheater. This serves as an excellent outdoor getaway while staying at Treasure Valley.
